Staff outing with whisky and Scottish sounds
Staff outings are usually organised by the staff, led by Michael Loosli and Christoph Neukomm (both with the highest length of service).
This means that the outing was a surprise for the board: they knew the budget but the trip was secret.
First they drove to Bern and climbed up the city-hill (called “Gurten”). An innovative farmer cultivates Scottish highland cattle and has a whisky bar. The staff underwent a blind-testing of seven blends – part of some miniature highland games, including tossing the caber, tug-of-war, archery or milking a cow. They agreed on keeping quiet about who's the strongest...
After lunch they drove to the neighbouring Kanton Aargau where later on a culinary run through the canton started. They jumped from restaurant to restaurant, from the hors d'oeuvre to coffee and sweets and eventually they concluded the day nearby Basel with homemade Whisky and Scottish sound all night long.
The board of Waterjet and Microwaterjet expresses thanks to all the staff for their loyalty and the unforgettable day!
